Dog Trainer Rob

Rob was so incredibly kind to my jack Russell. He has helped make my dog Bean obedient and walks right along my side now! I didn’t think I would have been able to find someone to help me but Rob went the extra mile to make sure Bean behaves. He is extremely responsive and reliable and I could not think of anyone else who could’ve done what he did. THANK YOU ROB.

Robert is a fixture in Forest Hills dog walking, some would call him the dog whisperer of Forest Hills!!! He has walked my dog for many years and helped us with training. He takes the time to bond with every dog he walks and hosts amazing pack walks, that my dog can’t wait for everyday. It kept my low energy dog social, and taught him good manners. When we had an inkling of any behavioral issues with my dog, we would discuss it with Robert and he would work on corrections during his walks that we would later reinforce at home. The corrections immediately changed my dogs demeanor, and his attitude fell in line.We trust him with our keys, we trust him with our dogs wellbeing and we can’t rave enough about him !!! We consider ourselves lucky to have such a great dog walker, because his service is so much more than that!

Couldn’t ask for a better care taker then Robert. He truly cares about my pups and you can see he finds joy to life in caring for all of our pets. From what they eat to how they live and the appropriate amount of excersize they need. Robert will educate you on how to feed them a healthy well balanced meal catered to what you can do for your pets.

Rob has been so helpful with training our newly adopted dog. She didn't know anything before we adopted her. She didn't know what it was like to be groomed or how to walk properly on a leash. We have seen a complete transformation within a matter of a few weeks. Rob has helped us every step of the way with learning the theory of why to do something and how to do it too. He trains both myself and the dog with how to follow through with each command. He is so generous with his time and makes sure to work with us individually so we fully grasp the concept. Besides individual training he does a weekend class in the park. I really appreciate everything he has done and taught us!

I have a Cane Corso who’s not the most friendly especially when someone comes to the house. Robert was very professional and handled him very well. I have learned a lot from him and I can see a big difference in my dog’s behavior. He is much easier to take for walks and train. Raw Feeding ReviewI got my dog from a shelter. I was a volunteer, so I walked many dogs. They were fed whatever food was donated by the public, a variety of commercial dog foods.On any given day maybe 85% of the dogs had diarrhea. The shelter said it was because everyone fed them treats on these walks but I know that wasn’t it.When I got my girl home, I wanted to give her the best diet I could, so I started with high quality dog foods, reading everything I could about what to look for. This worked fine, although she made mountains of poop, sometimes soft. She also had lethal gas sometimes, not so much a problem for her, but I’d have to leave the room! She did enjoy her meals.I had been researching raw feeding on chat groups and web sites already when I met Robert.Understanding that dogs are truly carnivores I wanted to try raw feeding.We started her out on tripe for about 5 days and watched carefully to see how she took to it. Fine. She ate it as if she’s had it all along. For myself, it’s the nastiest, but for them its health food.My dog eats Performance Dog, which has tripe, beef, and beef trachea and bone, all ground up. I cut the package in half right through the plastic wrap, squeeze on a bit of salmon oil and she’s got a great balanced meal!She eats it in seconds by the way! Some days I add a whole egg, either with the shell, after rinsing it or without the shell. Sometimes I give her half portion of Performance dog and some chicken of pork from the supermarket.After asking Robert 1000 questions about other meats, salmonella, parasites, any question that comes up, I now also give her pork shoulder, (the bone is the right size that it won’t get caught and god forbid choke her. I also cut up a whole chicken, plus I give her kidney in small pieces, only 10% of the meal, gizzards or liver.How is her health since I have fed her this way for the past year? Perfect. Her coat, which is naturally a little coarse is definitely smoother, softer, shinier. Her body is sleek and muscular. Her um, poops which were huge before are quite dainty, so I guess she is “using” the food rather than it just passing through her. All in all, it is working out very well, and she loves her food. I definitely recommend raw feeding for any dog or cat.Rob also walks my dog when I need it and has boarded her for a few days. She loves him and his dog Tiger!

He offers a combination of private sessions and group classes ensuring that your pup gets the one-on-one attention needed to understand and work through issues while also providing a safe supportive group environment to work through real-life scenarios under varying levels of distraction. In addition to obedience training he introduces dogs to scent work and agility opening up the possibilities to build on their skills. With such an active and intelligent breed, this is ideal for our needs.

My dog and I have been working with Robert for 6 months now and have seen a vast improvement in her obedience and overall behavior. It’s made a world of difference in our relationship and improved my confidence as a handler. I now have a foundation that I can use to problem solve training challenges as she learns new skills.

Rob was so informative and helped me understand how to better care for my dog’s dietary needs. My dog has a very sensitive stomach, and Rob explained to me why and how raw feeding would help improve her condition as well as her overall health. My dog showed a huge improvement! Rob knows dogs. Our dog was a bit of a mess when we first got him; he was on the streets, abused, and starved. He’s sweet and cuddly now and very well-behaved. All of this is because we followed Rob’s instructions. If it worked for our dog, it will work for yours.

I have a chocolate lab that used to weight about 120lbs. He was really lazy and sometimes would get outta control. So I had enough of it and gave this guy a call. It's been about 6 months since he started working with my dog. He explained how his product works and made it very easy for me to actually understand. This guy really is above the rest. From his whole "raw foods" diet to the language he uses, you can tell he's passionate about taking care of my buddy. At first I was concerned because my dog always thinks he's an alpha, that he wouldn't really get along with other dogs. Robert assured me and after watching them both during the initial interview, I knew I found the right person to take care of my German Shephard - Husky.
